A Comparative Experimental Study on the Addictivness of Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD) and 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamne (MDMA).
Abstract
This experimental study aims to investigate the relative addictiveness of LSD and MDMA through a rodent model. Through behavioral assessments including self-administration, withdrawal models, and conditioned place preference results the study aims to identify which substance induces more addictive behaviors. Neurobiological analyses will complement the findings, allowing more light on the underlying mechanisms of addiction for LSD and MDMA in the brain and body.
