The effects of clinical and non-clinical use of psychedelics on personality traits: A meta-analysis
Abstract
The proposed meta-analysis aims to investigate the effect of psychedelics such as psilocybin, ayahuasca, MDMA and LSD on the Big Five personality traits of agreeableness, openness, neuroticism, conscientiousness and extraversion (Eysenck, 1967). Clinical and non-clinical studies administering personality related outcome measures following psychedelic intake will be included. Studies involving animals and those which do not use personality outcome measures will not be considered.
