With this review, we would like to summarize different conceptualizations of the term "psychedelic flashbacks" and delineate commonalities and differences. Additionally, we seek to gather information on the circumstances under which flashbacks occur and whether risk factors are documented in the literature. Finally, we aim to compile recommendations for managing flashbacks and, if applicable, treatment approaches.
