Impact of Most Memorable Psychedelic Experience on Spiritual Beliefs Among USA Veterans and Their Partners
Abstract
Planned secondary analysis of online survey data collected from persons who received sponsorship from VETS, Inc. to attend an ibogaine retreat. Survey included questions querying impact of psychedelic experience on respondent's beliefs, emotions, and behaviors, with a focus on spiritual and religious beliefs. All survey respondents participated in ibogaine treatment, but participants were asked to base their survey responses upon their “most memorable psychedelic experience”, which was not necessarily their experience with ibogaine. This survey was administered at a single time point following participation in the ibogaine retreat.
