The purpose of this review is to sample all available articles regarding the use of ketamine as a treatment for adult patients with super refractory status epilepticus, and to extract disease and treatment data such as etiology of seizure, duration of seizure, treatment latency, treatment dose, treatment duration, adverse effects, and other treatments used. This review will provide an updated perspective on the use of ketamine for super status epilepticus and help highlight any gaps in research.
