Therapist variables as predictors of attitudes toward psychedelics
Abstract
This is a retrospective data analysis of data already collected from a survey of 361 psychologists as described in Davis, A., Agin-Liebes, G., Espana, M., Pilecki, B., & Luoma, J.B. (under review). Attitudes and beliefs about the therapeutic use of psychedelic drugs among psychologists in the United States. We are interested in examining factors that predict attitudes toward psychedelic substances among psychologists in the USA. The main reason is to inform attempts to reduce stigma and improve dissemination of psychedelic assisted therapy should these medications become approved for distribution.
