Therapeutic Applications of Classic Psychedelics in Comorbid Depression and Substance Use Disorders: A Scoping Review
Abstract
This scoping review aims to systematically map existing literature on the therapeutic use of classic psychedelics (LSD, psilocybin, mescaline, DMT) in depression, substance use disorders (SUDs), and their comorbidity. Using PRISMA-ScR and Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) frameworks, the review will identify key findings, research gaps, and comparative outcomes across these three clinical domains.
