Adverse effects in psilocybin trials: an individual patient data meta-analysis from randomized trials
Abstract
Preliminary evidence suggest psilocybin in conjunction with psychotherapy may be effective in reducing depression and anxiety symptoms, but prevalence of adverse effects in these trials is unclear. This study will use an individual participant data meta-analysis to investigate clinically significant worsening of depression and anxiety symptoms in psilocybin trials.
