Over the past decade, there has been a surge of interest in psychedelics as a novel avenue for mental disorder treatment. Despite numerous successful treatment outcomes reported in numerous studies, none have systematically compared the effectiveness of different forms of psychedelic treatment. This study aims to address this research gap by conducting a cross-over, randomized controlled trial (RCT) to investigate and compare the efficacy of ketamine (a non-classical psychedelic) and psilocybin (a classical psychedelic) in patients with TRD.
