This scoping review aims to comprehensively examine the current knowledge and evidence regarding occupational exposure to ketamine among individuals authorised to administer or handle the drug across various professional settings. By systematically searching and synthesising data from a wide range of sources, including peer-reviewed literature and grey literature, this research intends to identify any knowledge gaps and provide an overview of the risks associated with occupational ketamine exposure, which remains an understudied area of concern, particularly among paramedics.
