Does phenomenological control predict responses to psychedelic microdosing?
Abstract
The phenomenological control scale quantifies the capacity of individuals to shape their perceptual experience. Due to the preliminary nature of phenomenological control research, we do not yet know the degree to which phenomenological control might impact cognitive changes, such as altered states of experience and positive and negative affect. This study aims to examine the influence of phenomenological control, on altered state of consciousness and positive and negative affect in a self-blinded study, comparing the effects of microdoses of psilocybin to placebo.
