Effectiveness of psychedelic products: A systematic review
Abstract
This systematic review will focus on the effect of psychedelics such as psilocybin, ayahuasca, lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) and N, N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT) drugs in different psychological disorders for example major depressive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, panic disorders, anxiety disorders and others. We will conduct a systematic review of published literature to compare the outcomes of experimental versus placebo groups to find out if there is any difference due to this therapy/intervention in human subjects experiencing the aforementioned psychological disorders.
